This flokati is handmade in Greece from 100% natural sheeps’ wool. The wool is dyed in warm dark orange and red-brown stripes. After weaving, each rug is washed and dried in the open air, giving it a thick, soft and fluffy texture. Every rug is unique. Bringing this piece into your home means inviting warmth, craftsmanship and a quiet sense of Greek heritage inside. The soft, fluffy wool invites you to slow down and enjoy its texture, creating a wonderfully cozy and natural feel. It radiates warmth and naturally invites you to gather around it.
This rug is named after Pagrati, the favorite neighborhood of Denise, one of the founders of our brand. Sitting on a hill in the east of Athens, you can often catch a view of the Acropolis from its streets. Pagrati has a mix of quiet streets and cosy squares, with plenty of cafés, bars, shops, and tavernas. Everything you need without having to leave this neighborhood.

100% Sheeps’ Wool – sourced from New Zealand for its naturally soft, bright white wool. In Europe and New Zealand, mulesing is prohibited, ensuring ethical production.

This rug has a beautiful high pile, with wool fibers approximately ±8 cm high. It is heavy and quickly settles nicely into place. A rug pad can be used underneath if desired, but it is not strictly necessary.
The rug is easy to keep clean: simply shake it out occasionally or gently vacuum it using the upholstery attachment. Wool naturally repels water and dirt.

All of our fluffy flokati rugs are handmade to order, crafted especially for you from 100% natural sheeps’ wool. Because each rug is made to size and with great care, please allow 4–7 weeks for production before your order is shipped.
