This flokati is handmade in Greece from 100% natural sheeps’ wool. It is woven from natural white and natural brown wool in soft stripes, both shades left completely undyed. After weaving, each rug is washed and dried in the open air, creating the rich, fluffy texture that makes every flokati unique. Bringing this piece into your home means inviting warmth, craftsmanship and a quiet sense of Greek heritage inside. This woolen rug is named after Koukaki, an Athenian neighborhood just below the Acropolis. In Koukaki, the city’s rich history meets contemporary artistic energy, making it a favorite spot for those seeking culture, creativity and everyday Athenian life.
Composition and origin
100% Sheeps’ Wool – sourced from New Zealand for its naturally soft, bright white wool. In Europe and New Zealand, mulesing is prohibited, ensuring ethical production.
This rug has a beautiful high pile, with wool fibers approximately ±8 cm high. It is heavy and quickly settles nicely into place. A rug pad can be used underneath if desired, but it is not strictly necessary.
The rug is easy to keep clean: simply shake it out occasionally or gently vacuum it using the upholstery attachment. Wool naturally repels water and dirt.
The wool is cleaned, spun and carefully woven by hand on traditional looms, then washed and dried in the open air.
Every flokati is unique, small variations and textures are part of its natural charm.

All of our fluffy flokati rugs are handmade to order, crafted especially for you from 100% natural sheeps’ wool. Because each rug is made to size and with great care, please allow 4–7 weeks for production before your order is shipped.
Once your rug is ready, we will send you a shipping confirmation with tracking details so you can follow its journey to you.

Returns
We hope you are happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return your order within 14 days of receiving it.
Before sending the rug back, please contact us by email first at hello@giveapon.nl so we can provide you with the return instructions.
Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Once we have received the item and confirmed that it is in perfect condition, we will issue a full refund.
